Hey guys it’s Sam and do you know Captain Underpants? You know, the guy who beats up bad guys in his underpants? Well, a ninth book is in installment. It’s called Captain Underpants and the Terrifying Return of Tippy Tinkletrousers (or otherwise Professor Poopypants from the fourth book). Well, it’s not out yet. Some think Dav’s got writer’s block. But they’re wrong. The correct answer is hiatus, as that’s what Dav’s on caring for his terminally ill dad. So he signed with Scholastic for 4 new books, the first one being The Adventures of Ook and Gluk: Kung-Fu Cavemen from the Future. You’re probably wondering, “Kung-fu cavemen? Ook and Gluk? What is this!?”

Well, it’s about these two obnoxious, silly little cavekids named Ook (blonde hair hanging in front of his eyes, goatee, missing front tooth) and Gluk (afro, mutton chops, handlebar mustache) who have a pretty awesome life in Caveland, Ohio in the year 500,001 B.C. But they always get in trouble with their chief, Chief Goppernopper. But their lives are about to be turned negative when an evil futuristic corporation invades and conquers Ook and Gluk’s quiet prehistoric little village.

But when they are pulled through a time portal with their dinosaur pal, Lily, they wind up in 2222 A.D., where they find out that the futuristic world is more terrible then the one they came from.

Luckily, they find a friend in Master Wong, an instructor of martial arts. They are both trained in the art of Kung-Fu, so that one day they may return to their prehistoric times and save their village. But when their time arrives, will Ook and Gluk have what it takes to defeat killer robots, mechanical dinosaurs, and time-traveling terrorists?
